東京に生まれる。1984年、東京藝術大学日本画科卒業。1987年、東京藝術大学大学院保存修復技術終了。全国で個展・グループ展多数。現在、日本美術院院友。深い自然観察と卓越した描写力を生かした、女性らしい優しさとナチュラルな感性によって、新しい花鳥画のスタイルを生み出している。

Kiwako Suzuki was born in Tokyo and graduated from the Department of Japanese Painting at the Tokyo University of the Arts in 1984. In 1987, she completed her studies with the university’s graduate course in art conservation techniques. She has presented her artwork at many individual and group exhibitions in places all across Japan. Suzuki is currently a member of the Japan Art Institute. Based on her close observation of nature and her outstanding painting skills, she has created a new style of nature painting through her feminine tenderness and natural sensitivity.

This is a masterpiece by Kiwako Suzuki, a female painter who has created many paintings depicting objects in nature that have been familiar to Japanese people since ancient times. Depicted with precise drawing techniques and unique sensitivity, the cherry blossoms are constructed in a bold yet precise style. Since cherry blossoms are a common subject for many Japanese painters, the painter needs todemonstrate particular skill and individuality.
